Indonesian traditional food is precious heritage with the delicacy and variety that deserve to be tasted. The stamp series of "Indonesian Traditional Food" is an issuance series which began in 2004. This stamp series depict two local specialties, namely sei meat served with bose corn and spicy sour curry.

1. The sei meat is a typical food od the East Nusa Tenggara Province. This Timor culinary icon appears in various versions of dishes in Kupang, Atambua, and other cities in the island. This food is made from beef or pork, smoked up to dry so it is ready eat. The cooking process carried out with hot smoke from burning wood instead of flames. In addition to beef or pork, fish sei is also available now. The sei meat is very delicious when sprinkled over bose corn.

2. Spicy sour curry is a distinctive food of the Riau Islands Province. Almost all the restaurants in this area provide a menu of spicy sour catfish curry. So it is not difficult to get this tasty food with definitely unique smell. The big chunks of catfish in thick yellow curry sauce is very tempting. Because of its spicy and sour flavor, the dish is called spicy sour curry.
